Last summer the Papuga Lab helped to GPS the bike racks and other bike infrastructure on this map. We also provided the QR code for the "Weather to Ride?" link on the map that directs people to our campus weather station!
The students in my GEL 5610 Professionals Skills for Earth and Environmental Scientists organized a Career Expo. They organized round tables led by professionals from the government, NGOs, consulting companies, academia, science communication and career development arenas. It was a huge success and the round table leaders and the students all gained a lot from the experience!
